Briar PipesThe Archive holds an increasing number of briar pipes and related collections. The following details provide an overview of each of these collections. Click on the collections below to find out more. Adler: This collection includes the metal dies used to mark briar pipes made by the Civic Company, as well as the Civic pattern book. Other material includes the presidential chain from the Briar Trade Association. All items donated to the Archvie between 2010 and 2011.
Cole: This extensive collection includes a large number of briar pipes as well as other smoking ephemera and a large paper archive.
Orlik: A collection of catalogues and documents relating to the Orlik Tobacco Company was presented to the Archive by Mr Simon Orlik between 2011 and 2017. The collection includes a number of digital images.
